Oh hey there Deviantart,

I haven't made a journal entry in a very very very long time. I go on pretty much every other day just to check things, but Nothing DA related has really been going on... I've been super busy with homework and friends and stuff.

I haven't cosplayed in awhile. I went to SoyCon (In July I think..?) and I haven't done anything since then. It sucks being a teenager because all of the money in my possession goes to other things like Homecoming and going places. No money for cosplay = no cosplay. So sad...

The only thing I can think about saying here in regards to that is that I AM going to ACen. But I don't really think I'm doing anything until then (again no money and no time)

As for what I plan on doing when ACen rolls around (as of now, subject to change) I really want to cosplay Porrim Maryam from Homestuck. She's such a boss. Cosplaying her sounds like it would be super fun. She IS a pretty expensive and time consuming cosplay though. I have to find a base dress/alter it, buy a wig, perfect face painting, figure out what to do to make the rest of my body grey (I'm NOT painting it. I'm thinking body suit/tights..?), and get shoes. I'd also like to do Windy John (God tier) because I've been wanting to make him for awhile. It's an extremely easy cosplay, I just need the cash. The last cosplay I want to have for ACen is kinda up for grabs right now. I want to modify my Fem 11th doctor pretty badly; I think I'd get a new skirt and add suspenders. But I also kind of want to be fem Thor (The Halloween costume I'm making) Maybe I'll do both haha.

I plan on having some other art (besides cosplay) up pretty soon. We're working pretty hard on some paintings in Academy  (Advanced art program at my school) right now and I want to upload some pictures.

Wellllllllll that's really all I have to say. I guess I'm updating just to kill time. I have something I'm doing in half an hour (My boyfriend's highschool's Homecoming) and I'm already ready so I'm really anxious and bored. Haha...

So I understand that this a few weeks late, I just never really got around to writing it.

Basically, ACen this year was amazing. Everything about it was fantastic.

This is the first year my friends and I went and got a hotel room for one night. It's defiantly the way to go. You can stay later, it provides a place to sleep, and it's a place to keep your crap. I for sure want to do it again next year.

The people this year were super awesome too. Minimal amount of creepers (not the Minecraft kind xD) and not too many obnoxious people (not to be mean).

Something that a lot of other people found annoying was actually one of my favorite parts... ALL THE HOMESTUCK. No one expected it and it was amazing. If you couldn't tell from my previous journal (a while ago) I've fallen in love with Homestuck. It is amazing. Time travel, Apocalypse, aliens, things not being what they seem, Dave Strider, It's got everything. I suggest you all consider reading it (The beginning is slow, don't let it discourage you) not to mention, the fans are absolutely wonderful.

Other than that, we hung out with some pretty awesome people, actually ate, and went to meet-ups

Side note: If anyone got pictures of the Doctor Who/BBC meet up can you let me know? I was in that as the female 11TH Doctor and I want to see if they're any good pictures of me xD


Ill have pictures of the Adventure time meetup up soon if anyone is interested in seeing those. And pictures of all the Homestucks x3

So I got some new art supplies for Easter

Included were 4 small (maybe 8x10) canvases.

It's not very often that i paint on canvas with acrylics (I do watercolor more often) so I don't know what to do with them.

Any artistic suggestions? *Hopeful face*
